However you will find that you can recharge them many times over and will save money over buying standard AA batteries.
Most batteries will have some form of solar powered charging device these days. In the long run it makes sense to get one of these devices as you will save on your electricity bills and they are portable so you can use them in the outdoors or away from grid electricity.
